   His eyes were fixed in the painting in front of him. It’s not that he didn’t like art, he just didn’t understand. And he should understand everything before actually exploring it. Of course, that closed a lot more doors then opened but his leg would be always kicking those doors until they opened, anyway. His brown eyes shouldn’t be just staring but actually analyzing; but how to analyze someting so…not important to him? Not that he only analyzed things that were of importance to him but that was part of it. Feet tapping on the ground impatiently (he shouldn’t have even tried to do this school’s essay; art is so stupid. Not that stupid is exactly bad), doe eyes glanced to the person nearest to his figure.

                                                        “Hey, you. Do you understand any of this?”

   He was pointing to the painting, of course. This was bullshit for his logical mind. Not that it necessarily bullshit for, let’s see, any other human.

_{Cathal threw the other a scoffed grin, eyes following the direction in which he was pointing at. He hummed softly to himself as he identified the work – A typical Pollock piece, as far as he could tell. That style wasn’t particularly one to forget, anyhow. And the painting itself wasn’t one he was unfamiliar with – Rather the opposite actually. The facts within its strokes - abstract as they were - had been things he learned. Though the name didn’t immediately come into mind, the redhead had already thought of numerous things to explain the erratic display of colors and splatters with. Something easy, straightforward, something like –}

_{"S'from that American artist, Pollock. I’m pretty sure he wasn’t trying anything with it. It’s abstract art, kid. Hardly the type of things to analyze, lest you want to hurt your head."} 

_{– Which was true, honestly. Taking pieces such as these as they were was a smarter, easier choice than overanalyzing it and throwing a precious mug of coffee across the room in frustration.}
